All About Yaqi

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Yaqi has loved to tickle and be tickled for as long as he can remember.  For many years Yaqi participated from the sidelines, occasionally joining Internet chat forums but he was unhappy with the Internet's portrayal of tickling. In 1998 Yaqi created www.yaqisworld.com; a portal by which more sophistication could be given to the tickling craze. Yaqi wanted to introduce tickling as a natural lifestyle choice, rather than some type of obscene fetish. To his amazement, millions of ticklers found his site, and thousands log on each day to review new information and read posted letters.

Shortly after creating his web site, Yaqi was contacted by Great Britain's prime time show, Dot.Comedy.   The producers flew Yaqi to London, where he demonstrated tickling in front of a studio audience and delighted millions of Britons on the highly rated program. After completing the show and returning to Texas, Yaqi discovered that more than one million people had logged onto his web site. In the summer of 2001, he was contacted by MTV producers and asked to participate in the production of a new pilot for a potential series, titled,  Beyond the Classifieds.  From that point on, Yaqi has become a raving success and today is one of the most sought after experts on the subject. 

Yaqi decided to utilize his 20 years experience in the film & television industry and create a series of more than 20 tickling videos, and make them available over his popular web site.  He has sold thousands of the videos to tickle fans located in more than sixty countries.

Because of the growing interest and response, Yaqi decided to go one step further and produce a 30-minute documentary which would take viewers on a detailed journey through the world of tickling. His documentary will answer many questions that Yaqi has received over the past five years from ticklers and non-ticklers alike. To Yaqi's knowledge, no one before him has produced such a tastefully complete examination of this new and unique lifestyle.

In early 2002, due to popular request, Yaqi will hit the talk show circuit, and take tickling to mainstream America. It is his hope that those who are currently private and hidden ticklers will be able to come out of the closet - and Yaqi contends that there are millions of people out there who are 'secret' ticklers.
